About JTR Pools
Commercial pools are all we do.
For more than twenty-five years, JTR Pools has designed, built, and renovated the commercial aquatic facilities the Midwest depends on — and nothing else.
Our story
Twenty-five years of aquatic infrastructure, built to institutional standards.
JTR Pools was built on a single decision: to work only where the demands are highest. For more than twenty-five years, we've focused exclusively on commercial and institutional aquatic facilities — the schools, cities, parks, YMCAs, and waterparks that can't afford for a pool to fail.
Commercial pools live a harder life than any backyard pool. Daily bather loads in the hundreds, sixteen-hour operating days, year-round chemical exposure, ADA requirements, and health-department inspections that don't grade on a curve. Building for that isn't a scaled-up residential job — it's a different discipline, and it's the only one we practice.
From our base in Indianapolis, our crews work across Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Kentucky — more than two hundred commercial projects, from complete natatorium builds to single mechanical-room renovations. Every one is engineered for the long game.

Our approach
One focus, four commitments.
Commercial-only isn't a tagline — it's how we specify materials, sequence a build, and stand behind the result.
Commercial-only, always
We never split our attention with residential work. Every crew, every spec, and every supplier relationship is built around institutional aquatic facilities.
Engineered for the duty cycle
Hundreds of swimmers a day, sixteen-hour seasons, relentless chemical exposure. We size and select every system for the load it will actually carry.
Compliant by default
Health-department code across four states, ADA accessibility, NEC electrical. We build to pass inspection the first time — not the third.
In it for the long run
Service contracts, operator training, and parts support mean the relationship doesn't end at the ribbon cutting.
Compliance & standards
Inspected, accessible, and built to code.
Commercial aquatic facilities answer to more rules than almost any other building type — and JTR builds to all of them. We deliver work that passes inspection on the first walkthrough.
State health-department code
Every project meets the aquatic-facility code of the state it's built in — Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Kentucky.
ADA accessibility
Compliant access — lifts, ramps, transfer systems, and signage — designed in from the start, not bolted on.
NEC electrical standards
Bonding, grounding, and equipment to National Electrical Code, the detail that keeps a commercial pool safe.
